Any Baked Cakes ... from short notice requests to bespoke celebration cakes

 

Ordering

 To avoid disappointment when deciding to place an order for a celebratory cake, ideally, the following notice is required: 

  • a minimum of 2 week's notice for a sponge-type cake 
  • a minimum of 1 month's notice for a fruit cake, so it has time to develop fully. 

 Deliveries & Set-up

If you are outside Sawtry and unable to collect your cake personally, there is a small delivery based on location

For Wedding cake delivery and set-up there is an additional charge, depending on cake size/set-up time/location. By allowing it to be delivered safely, on the day you require, to the agreed venue, it will relieve you of the stress and allow you more time, on possibly an already hectic day...something to think about perhaps?

 Prices

 Cake prices vary greatly depending on exact requirements:

  • Chocolate cake is more expensive than a plain cake and an alcohol-soaked fruit cake, covered with marzipan, is more expensive than both.
  • Cup cakes and muffin prices differ (mini cup cakes; cup cakes regular-sized/muffin large-sized).
  • Cake pops are labour intensive and prices reflect this and include the cost of display packaging (minimum order 8).
  • Elaborate sugar work/wired flowers are labour intensive and need sufficient time to 'dry out'.

The smallest cake available is a 6" Vanilla sponge cake. This is sandwiched with butter cream and jam, covered with fondant icing,  decorated with simple iced flowers and inscribed with a greeting of your choice. For £35, this will give approximately 12-16  people, one nice slice of cake.

When placing a firm order for your cake, to secure your booking: 
a 50% non-refundable deposit for the cost of the cake is required;  
Please DO NOT TRANSFER MONIES via PAY PAL...this will incur the additional % charged to 'Any Baked Cakes' (approximately 4% of overall payment);

Deposits can be paid in cash directly to 'Any Baked Cakes' or via the On-line Bank transfer system: (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faster_Payments_Service), directly into the Bank Account within minutes (all details by arrangement);
